Baby Shower
This baby shower was for a mama to be who is all about vintage-inspired decor, and using natural elements like wildflowers. The couple also did not find out the sex of the baby beforehand. They hired Philo to create a memorable, beautiful baby shower that was true to their ethos as a couple.
The Details
-All florals were wild / foraged for a natural yet elegant look
-All vases and ceramics were vintage or antiques
-Custom signage showed milestones of both the mama and dad to be. Guests had to guess whose milestone it was. A baby photo on the other side revealed the answer!
-Vintage children’s books decorated each table
-Edible chamomile & blueberry cake
-Old wives tales that coincided with mama’s symptoms were printed and hung on clothes pins for guests to guess the sex of the baby. They voted by placing coins in either a blue or pink vintage piggy bank
-Little cards in a thrifted “buns in the oven” pan for guests to write notes to the baby. Notes were placed in a scrapbook for the parents to take home and cherish forever
